Services
Everything between the port and your door
Six services, one team. We have cleared cargo through New Port and the airport since 2009, for businesses, private importers and visiting yachts.
Import Clearance
We prepare and lodge your import declaration, settle duties with Seychelles Customs and release your goods from New Port or the airport.
Every shipment entering Seychelles must be declared to Customs before it can leave the port. We take that whole process off your hands: we check your commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading or air waybill, classify the goods, prepare the declaration and lodge it on your behalf.
Once duties and taxes are assessed, we arrange payment, follow the consignment through any inspection and collect the release. You get one point of contact from arrival notice to delivery, and a team that has been clearing cargo on Mahé since 2009.
- Sea cargo through New Port, Victoria
- Air cargo through Seychelles International Airport
- Commercial consignments and private shipments
Export Clearance
Outbound goods declared correctly and on time, so your cargo makes its vessel or flight without last-minute surprises.
Sending goods out of Seychelles needs the same care as bringing them in. We prepare and lodge the export declaration, check that permits or certificates required for your goods are in place, and coordinate with the carrier so your shipment is cleared before the cut-off.
Whether it is a one-off return of equipment or a regular commercial export, we keep the paperwork accurate and the timeline realistic.
- Export declarations and supporting documents
- Coordination with shipping lines and airlines
- Re-exports and returns
Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea)
Air and sea freight arranged end to end, with clearance handled by the same team so nothing falls between the cracks.
Freight forwarding and customs clearance work best when they are handled together. We coordinate the movement of your cargo by air or sea, keep track of arrival and departure dates, and make sure the documents travelling with your goods match what Customs will expect on arrival.
Because we clear what we forward, you are not caught between a carrier and a separate agent when questions come up.
- Sea freight via New Port, Mahé
- Air freight via Seychelles International Airport
- One team for transport and clearance
Cargo Transportation
Once cleared, we arrange local transport so your goods reach your warehouse, business or home on Mahé.
Clearance is only half the job if your goods are still sitting at the port. We organise collection from New Port or the airport cargo area as soon as your consignment is released, and coordinate delivery to the address you need.
Planning transport alongside clearance avoids extra storage time and keeps the whole move on one schedule.
- Collection from port and airport
- Delivery across Mahé
- Coordinated with your clearance date
Documentation & Permits
Bills of Entry (IM5), import permits and supporting paperwork prepared correctly the first time.
Most clearance delays start with paperwork. We prepare the Bill of Entry (IM5), help you apply for import permits where your goods require them, and review your supplier documents before the shipment lands so problems are fixed early rather than at the port.
If you are not sure what your shipment needs, send us what you have. We will tell you what is missing and what to ask your supplier for.
- Bill of Entry (IM5) preparation and lodgement
- Import permit applications
- Document checks before your cargo arrives
Yacht & Private Imports
Spare parts for visiting yachts, temporary import extensions and personal shipments, handled by an agent the yachting community recommends by name.
Visiting yachts and private importers have different needs from commercial shippers. We clear spare parts sent to crews in Seychelles, help yachts staying longer than 30 days with temporary import extensions, and handle personal effects for people relocating to the islands.
Skyland is recommended by name in the international cruising community, including on Noonsite and by OSASA, because crews know their part will be found, cleared and delivered without fuss.
- Spare parts clearance for yachts in Seychelles waters
- Temporary import extensions beyond 30 days
- Personal effects and private shipments
